Is Batomon Showdown worth it?

Patch 1.2.0 / Balance 24. Facts below are tied to a source checked on 2026-10-01. Anything still open is marked unconfirmed.

What the $14.99 is paying for

On 2026-10-01 the US Steam price was $14.99. You get the Windows build, seasons, the Jinto roster from 1.0.0, and the 1.2.0 balance. Future regions are free for owners. The $4.99 Supporter Pack is cosmetic and optional. The US Android listing showed $5.99. The browser demo is free and is not this build.

Who it fits

The store text promises an untimed shop and battles that resolve on their own. Steam categories include online PvP and playable without timed input. If you like Super Auto Pets style decisions and you do not need to be in the match together, this is that shape. The comparison page spells out the differences I can actually source.

Launch week had server strain. berrymint wrote that connection issues would keep being worked because of the influx of new players. Patch 1.0.3 then fixed several “fight your own team” cases. A black screen still has one documented flag, on the troubleshooting page.

Who should wait

Mac, Linux, Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox are not available. iOS is “coming soon” with no date. If your only machine is one of those, the honest move is the browser demo or a wait, not a key from a third-party shop.
