How to turn on extended mode

Patch 1.2.0 / Balance 24. Facts below are tied to a source checked on 2026-10-01. Anything still open is marked unconfirmed.

Three lines, then the rest

This is not a Batman game. The setting you want is inside Batomon Showdown.

  1. Finish a 10-win run.
  2. Open Settings and enable Extended Mode.
  3. On a later 10-win summary, choose to continue that team.

The continuation ends on day 40 or when lives run out. Board rules for that stretch are on endless mode.

Ranked play is scored once

Community FAQ text and the how-to-play notes agree: extended days add no second rank and no second MMR. They do not count as a completed game and they do not count as a run win. If the run you are extending was ranked, the 10-win result is applied first. I could not find a patch note that subtracts stars for enabling the setting.

A bug that used to empty the queue

Patch 1.0.3 fixed “Extended Mode runs finding no opponents, leaving you to fight a copy of your own team every round.” If you still see only your own board, check that you are on 1.2.0 and then use the troubleshooting page.

Questions on this page

How do I turn extended mode on?

Settings, then Extended Mode. You need a finished 10-win run first. After that, a later 10-win summary lets you continue the same team.

Is extended mode penalized?

It does not grant a second rank or MMR. It does not count as another completed game or another run win. A ranked 10-win is scored before you continue.
