What a season does

Official 1.0.0 notes say a season ends with a hard reset to Bronze 8. They do not say a quarter of your rank carries over. Season 0 ended on 14 September 2026; Season 1 began with the 15 September full release. The developer said Season 0 badge-case rewards would be granted at Season 1’s start.

The community ranks guide says Ranked unlocks after a first 10-win Casual run. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond each have divisions 8 through 1, followed by Master. A display has 0–4 stars; reaching five promotes immediately. Completed ordinary ranked runs change stars by wins minus five, with Bronze 8 at zero stars as the floor. Master has MMR and leaderboard position but no stars or division, and does not demote within that season. These are community-documented rules, not independently reverse-engineered measurements.

How many people are ranked

A community status page updated 2026-10-01 reported 4,636 ranked players. That is not a Steam concurrent number. Steam’s own current-player call at 09:23 UTC returned 1,991 people in game, which includes every mode. Both figures move. The player-count page keeps the Steam snapshot.

Privacy options from 1.0.0

1.0.0 added Hide Usernames, so a battle intro can show the trainer class instead of a display name. It also added a rank-up tutorial and badge-box skins. I am not publishing a leaderboard of real display names.
